It's that time of year again when you think about giving thanks for your many blessings. Last year on the 29th of December we lost our oldest daughter Gwen, after a six year battle to colon cancer. It would be easy for me to think to myself, what do we have to be thankful for. She left behind three wonderful children who have managed to take one day at a time and despite their grief have been strong for each other. We are extremely proud of them and know that their mother is smiling down on them. Although she will be greatly missed at the holidays, we do have much to be thankful for. We have a warm home, food to eat, employment, loving family and many wonderful friends. So take time during the holidays and give thanks for your blessings and spend those precious moments with family and friends. Memories last a lifetime!
